protestors are making their way back here to a project that is being rain-filled but they are making their way back here and this is a movement that began as you said a year ago. the numbers are smaller than it was a year ago. but their message still looms very large. i'll show you video we shot earlier of what happened during the course of the day. dozens of protestors marched through downtown d.c. streets stopping at corporate buildings to protest what they say is the greed and politicians involved with the corpses. the group said their goal is not to cause trouble but to be heard. the protestors at some point this morning tried to storm some buildings on k. street, those were lobbying firms, that was part of their effort to shut down k. street. that is what they were calling the movement this morning. this begins the one year anniversary of encampment, but the message is still very much in tact. back out to freedom plaza. the group were expected to have

a concert here at 6:00. that is delays, i'm thinking the rain has something to do with it. but they are expected to reconvene here at 7:30 to plot out the rest of the week. we understand tomorrow there will be another march by the veterans and then also having what they call a sleep-out at a bank of america. that is the latest from freedom plaza, maureen umeh, station. >> to the campaign trail and the race for the white house. president obama and mitt romney are gearing up for the first debate. they are going to face off in denver on wednesday night and the stakes are high. a good performance can pump up a party's enthusiasm and per sway undecided voters. >> who will pay attention to this and look for something maybe to make them change their mind for people who aren't completely thrilled about their choice. >> both of the guys have been through an awful lot of debates in their careers, they are both pretty good, they'll both be

there it is. thank you very much gary mcgrady, the magic man in the weather center. here is our washington nationals forecast for tonight. while we' expect a couple of passing showers, it will get cooler into the low 60s so be aware of that. but do have maybe a poncho handy just in case. you can see the first batch moving on through. this is going to be crossing 95 and keep on moving. what about behind it and down to the south? the showers are moving up from the south, moving to the northeast and there will be more later tonight. we are hoping that the steadier stuff will hold off until after 1:00. a warm front will push through tomorrow and we may be talking about a couple of thunderstorms here and there. down south there is a bit more in the way of thunderstorm activity still to come. so we'll jump to the future- cast to help you plan the waves of showers. we have the clouds coming through now. at about 10:00 tonight, another light wave. for your early morning commute,

up to the north heavier showers at around 8:00 in the morning. in the afternoon, it depends on how much sunshine we get. there is a possibility there could be a thunderstorm and our future-cast is kind of showing that around colonial beach. so off and on chances for showers, maybe a rumble of thunder tomorrow. and then into wednesday, after an early morning shower possibility, maybe we are not looking at too much after that. bottom line, when we get all of this chased out of here, probably on wednesday morning, we are not talking about a lot of rain, maybe a quarter to a half inch of rain for this area and a little bit heavier out to the west on the order of a half inch to an inch. but by west, i mean west of interstate 81. so here is your five-day forecast. so we have showers and maybe a storm tomorrow. early morning shower on wednesday and then that is it. it looks like from wednesday noon through thursday and friday the temperatures will be nice. and even a little taste of summer on friday which looks like the best day of the week. right now the weekend is drier for saturday, maybe a couple of showers on sunday and monday. >> i'm starting to notice the
